Patricia Daniela Fodor is an Italian soprano born in Romania in 1998. 

She commenced her musical studies with the violin at 7 years old and in 2011 she was accepted at Conservatorio ‘Giuseppe Verdi’ in Milan under the direction of Elena Marazzi (2011-2021). At the age of 16 she was accepted into the classical singing course under the tutelage of Monica Bozzo. As of 2019, she holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Conservatorio di Milano and in 2021 succeeded the Master’s degree at the same conservatoire (Honors.). She has also participated in masterclasses with many acclaimed singers including Mariella Devia, Leo Nucci, Luciana D’Intino, Lucio Gallo, Serena Gamberoni, FiorenzaCedolins, and Roberto Aronica.

Miss Fodor has performed extensively as a singer and violinist across Italy mainly at Teatro alla Scala, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro Verdi di Trieste, Teatro Romolo Valli Reggio Emilia, Fori Imperiali, Teatro dal Verme, Teatro Sociale di Sondrio, Teatro sociale di Como, and the prestigious Sala Verdi in Milan. 

She was a chorister in the Coro di Voci Bianche at Teatro alla Scala from 2011 to 2015 (‘la bohème’, ‘pagliacci’, ‘Attila’, ‘Tosca’, ‘Turandot’, ‘un ballo in maschera’, ‘lo schiaccianoci’). During this period, she participated in productions under the baton of various conductors including Daniel Harding, Daniele Rustioni, Nicola Luisotti, Riccardo Chailly and Gustavo Dudamel.

At the age of 16, Patricia Fodor debuted as a soloist in Verdi’s Macbeth under the direction of Valery Gergiev at Teatro allaScala as ‘seconda apparizione’.

In September 2021 she auditioned for the Teatro ComunaleAcademy in Bologna and was selected for the young opera program (Scuola dell’Opera) till November 2022. 

She sang the role of Susanna from “le nozze di Figaro” (concert performance) and she made her debut as Clorinda from “la Cenerentola” in May 2022 at Teatro Comunale di Bologna (staged). 

She performed Amore in “Orfeo ed Euridice” in June 2022 at Teatro Grande di Brescia foundation during the festival “festa dell’opera”, where she also made the opening concert as soloist.

In December 2022 she performed Beethoven's 9th Symphony as soprano solo at Sala Verdi at Milan Conservatory with the choir and orchestra of Lirica Ambrosiana.

From December 2022 she studied at Avos International Music School in Rome with the soprano Mariangela Sicilia, her current canto teacher.

In May 2023 she made her debut as Barbarina from “le nozzedi Figaro”at Teatro Comunale di Bologna where she was very much appreciated from the critics. She participated as soloist in Chamber Music Concets with IUC foundation in Rome in July 2023 and in August she had a soloist tourneé in Greece with the Italian Lyric Ensamble organized by the Italian Institute of Culture in Athens. In September 2023 she took part of the Bellini International Context in Catania performing “La Polledra ardente”, a special show made just by the musicsof Vincenzo Bellini. She performed the role of Giulietta. In October and November 2023 and Genuary and February 2024 she’s Pamina from “Die Zauberfote” at Teatro Verdi di Trieste(Italian version) and in March 2024 she will perform Belinda and Second Woman in “Dido and Aeneas” at Teatro Comunale di Bologna and Teatro Romolo Valli in Reggio Emilia.
