Nina Muho soprano

            The Albanian soprano Nina Muho was born in the coastal city of Vlora. Since her childhood, she has shown her talents in several artistic fields, such as singing, dancing, painting and choreography. Since her young age, she has been highly appreciated by her teachers of different artistic fields, who gave her the opportunity to understand the true values of some of her talents.

            She started her career at the Tirana Opera and Ballet Theatre in the choir and, subsequently, singing small roles such as Ciesca in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Suor Genoveffa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica.

            She has received several awards: "Best Verdi’s Performance" in the competition for female voices "Marcella Pobbe", at the Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza; "Special Award" and the award as the ‘’Best Performer’’ in the competition "Songs of the Earth"; the 1st Prize in the competition Jorgjia Truja; 3rd Prize in the competition "Marie Kraja", among others.

            In December 2020, she has performed the role of Violetta in Verdi’s La Traviata, at Teatro Verdi di Trieste. In this same year and 2019, she also sung Mimi in Puccini’s La Bohème, Micaela in Bizet’s Carmen, Rosalinde in Strauss Die Fledermaus and Contessa in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, as a regular soloist of the Albanian National Opera. In 2021, Nina Muho performed as Suzel in Mascagni's L'Amico Fritz, at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari; at the ANO, she sang again Mimi, Violetta and a Gala Concert, being conducted by Placido Domingo. 

             In 2022, Nina Muho came back to Trieste as Norina in Donizetti's Don Pasquale, at the Teatro Verdi.
