        Born in Bilbao, Tomé is graduated in agronomist ingineering. He was awarded the grant of “Advanced Classes Center Placido Domingo” of Palau de Les Arts de Valencia, in 2009, and also won the XL Concorso Internazionale Toti Dal Monte di Treviso 2010.

         Javier Tomé is one of the promises of the international lyrical scene. Regular guest of international renowned theatres and concert halls, such as Palau de les Arts de Valencia, La Zarzuela Theatre of Madrid, Barcelona’s Auditory, Tenerife’s Auditory, Pamplona’s Baluarte Auditory, Calderón Theatre of Valladolid, Teatro Arriaga of Bilbao, Palacio Euskalduna of Bilbao, Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, La Fenice Theatre of Venezia, Bologna’s Comunale Theatre, Donizetti Theatre of Bergamo, Massimo Theatre of Palermo, Aichi Prefectural Arts Theatre of Nagoya, Bunka Kaikan of Tokyo, among others.

          After a great success with La Traviata (Alfredo) at the Comunale Theatre of Bologna, he performed in L’Elisir d’Amore (Nemorino), at the Massimo Theatre of Palermo and La Fenice of Venezia. Then, he sang again Alfredo at Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège and Bunka Kaikan of Tokyo, El Dúo de la Africana (Giuseppini) at Arriaga Theatre of Bilbao and Ópera de Oviedo, Puccini's La Bohème (Rodolfo) at Donizetti Theatre of Bergamo and Palacio Euskalduna of Bilbao, La Villana (Olmedo) and El Barberillo de Lavapiés at the Zarzuela Theatre of Madrid and Carmen (Don José) in the “Japan Tour” of the Slovenian Maribor Theatre.

         His last concerts include J. S. Bach's cantata Schweigt Stille, Plaudert Nicht, Haendel's The Messiah, Mozart's Krönungsmesse KV 317 and Requiem KV 626, Gounod's Messe de Sainte-Cécile, Verdi's Requiem and Dvorak's Messa in Re Maggiore, recorded by Naxos under direction of Antoni Wit.
