Graziano Dallavalle bass
The Italian bass is graduated “cum lauda” of the Conservatorio Nicolini di Piacenza, where he studied with the soprano Maria Laura Groppi. He participated in masterclasses with Alessandro Corbelli, Renata Scotto, Bernardette Manca, Veronica Dune, Ugo Benelli, Antonio Juvarra and June Anderson. On the Wildbald Rossini Festival, he toke classes with Lorenzo Regazzo. In 2014, Graziano received a prize as the “best dark voice” at the Concorso Anselmo Colzani di Budrio. He was finalist in several international competitions as the Roma Festival, Concorso Franco Alfani di San Remo and Concorso Piero Cappuccilli di Alessandria – this last one, with a special mention for his interpretation.
Conducted by Ricardo Muti, he sung the role of Contadino in the Paisello’s Il Matrimonio Inaspettato. Dallavalle has sung many roles, such as Uberto in La Serva Padrona (Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova), the title role in
Don Pasquale (Teatro di Serravalle Sesia), Gregoire in Roméo et Juliette (Teatro Municipale di Piacenza), Dulcamara in L’Elisir d’Amore (Teatro Civico di Vercelli, Teatro dei Filodrammatici di Milano, La Spezia and Teatro Amintore Galli di Rimini), Don Alfonso in Così fan Tutte (16th Pafos Aphrodite Festival di Cipro), Tracollo in Livietta e Tracollo (Vercelli), Ferrando in Il Trovatore (Vercelli), as Pistola in Falstaff (Ravenna Festival, Modena, Savena, Reggio Emilia, Piacenza, Luca, Ferrara and Ancona), Saint-Brioche in Die Lustige Witwe (Rimini), Bartolo in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Moterone and Ceprano in Rigoletto, as Ramfis in Aida, Alidoro (17th Pafos Aphrodite Festival di Cipro) and Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola, Coline in La Bohème, Frank in Il Pipistrello, Marco in Gianni Schicchi, Giove in Orfeo all’Inferno, Marchese in La Traviata, Conte (Roma Festival) and Antonio (Teatro dell’Opera di Roma) in Le Nozze di Figaro, Sagrestano in Tosca, Mustafà in L’Italiana in Algeri and Lord Siney in Il Viaggio a Reims.
He has the chance to work under direction of great conductors and stage directors: Riccardo Muti, Roberto Abbado, Nicola Paszkowski, Cristina Mazzavillani Muti, Terry Gilliam, Jader Bigniamini, Roland Bòer, Giorgio Strehler, Marina Bianchi, Christopher Franklin, Nicola Berloffa, Paolo Panizza, Aldo Sisillo and Rosetta Cucchi, and others.
His future engagements include Alcindoro in La Bohème (Ravena Festival), Bernardino in Benvenutto Cellini and Dottore Grenvil in La Traviata (Opera di Roma).
