           The Italian-Ecuadorian tenor David Esteban began singing as young as two years old. His dream to become an opera singer came to fruition when he was accepted to the Conservatory of Naples Italy, where he completed a Bachelor’s degree. With rigorous preparation under the instruction of renowned teacher M. Mara Naddei, he became a member of the Centro de Perfeccionamento Placido Domingo, in Valencia, for the 2014-2015 season. He obtained a Master’s degree from the Conservatory of Valencia, where he studied with M. Ofelia Sala, and then earned another Master’s degree from the Opernschule Stuttgart in Germany, where he studied with M. Teru Yoshihara. He has participated in many different masterclasses with influential artists such as Francisco Araiza, Monserrat Caballé, Franca Mattiucci, Roger Vignoles, Manuela Custer, Ana Luisa Chova, Enedina Lloris, Margaret Honig, Laura Aikin, Graciela Araya, Friedeman Roehlig, and Mary Mills. He continues his vocal development with Angelo Raciti, Piero Visconti (his mentor), and Giorgio Tieppo.

         His first roles were Flavio in Norma and Abdallo in Nabucco, at the Palau de les Arts de Valencia, Duca di Mantova in Rigoletto, at the Wilhelma Theater, in Stuttgart, Don José in Carmen, with the International Festival Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg, in the Auditorio de Zaragoza and at the Tirana National Theatre, Rodolfo in Puccini's La Bohème, at the Stadthalle Balingen, and Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, at the Busan Cultural Center, South Corea.

          From the oratorio's and symphonic repertoire, David Esteban has sung Bruckner’s Te Deum at the Liederhalle Stuttgart, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle in Stuttgart, Bergamo and Pavia, and Verdi's Requiem in Herrenberg.

          In the autumn of 2018, David Esteban joined the ensemble of Theater Krefeld und Mönchengladbach, where he has already performed roles as Chevalier de la Force in Dialogues des Carmélites, Tamino, the title role in Orpheus in der Unterwelt, Laertes in Thomas' Hamlet, Simpleton in Boris Godunov and Ismaele. During the season 2019-2020, he has sung Narraboth in Strauss' Salome, Duca di Mantova and the Prince in Rusalka.

       In 20-21 season, he is singing again Don José (his 4th. production) and Tony Candolino in McNally's Meisterklasse and Babylas in Offenbach's Salon Pitzelberger.
