Arianna Manganello mezzo-soprano

            The young Italian mezzo soprano Arianna Manganello started her vocal studies with Lucrezia Raffaelli, in Celleno, after which she continued at the Instituto Vecchi Tonelli, in Modena, with Raina Kabaivanska and Maria Costanza Nocentini, where she graduated with the highest grade. She was active participant in masterclasses with Criss Merritt, Nicola Paszkowsky, Monica Bacelli, Giacomo Prestia and Renata Lamanda.

             In 2018, she sung the role of Contessa di Ceprano in Verdi's Rigoletto at Teatro Regio di Parma (for the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Leo Nuccis’ career), and The Voice Behind the Scene in Mennotti's The Medium at the Teatro Pavarotti di Modena.

                 In 2019, she was a participant at the Academy of Belcanto Rodolfo Celletti in Martina Franca), where she was invited, subsequently, to sing different roles at the Festival della Valle D’Itria. At the same year, she sang the role of Suzuki in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, at the Japan Opera Festival. She was the winer of 10th International Singing Competition Opera Pienza 2019 and finalist of the competition Ottavio Ziino. At the Teatro Rossini di Pesaro, she sang in the memorial concert in honor of Luciano Pavarotti.

                Currently, she is engaged as a member of the Opera studio at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. On the season 2020-21 Arianna Manganello will be singing roles of:  Mercédès in Bizet's Carmen, 2. Dame in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Meg Page in Verdi's Falstaff, Altichiara in Zandonai's Francesca da Rimini, Modestina in Rossini's Il Viaggio a Reims, Flora Bervoix in Verdi's La Traviata, Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and  Fenena in Verdi's Nabucco.
