        Currently considered one of the best Spanish singers. He starts his musical studies in his town Crevillente (Alicante) in 1995 and in 1996 is accepted in the Valencia’s Conservatory “Joaquin Rodrigo”.

In 1998, Gandía got into “Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía”, in the Singing’s Cathedra Fundación Ramón Areces conducted by Alfredo Kraus, attending to a masterclass of Renata Scotto, Ileana Cotrubas y Elena Obraztsova. In 1999, inside of the activities as a pupil of this school, he sang in the Lázaro Galdiano Museum and in the Auditorio Nacional of Music of Madrid. The same year he won the 1st prize in the last edition of the Alfredo Kraus International Singing Competition, which was conducted by Enrique García Asensio in the Winners competitions gala in RTVE, with excellent reviews.

            He has been awarded in several competitions: In 1999, the 1st prize and the public prize in Alfredo Kraus Competition in Canarias; the Zarzuela’s prize in Operalia in Washington (EEUU), the 1st prize in the 1st Iberoamericano Singing Competition in Mexico, the 1st prize in Pedro Lavirgen Competition in Priego de Córdoba, the 1st prize in Luis Mariano Competition in Irún, the 1st prize and two Plácido Domingo’s prizes and the public prize in Francisco Viñas International Competition in Barcelona. Considered as one of the tenors who wins many 1st prizes in the history of the International Singing Competition.

               Since his debut in 2000 with the role of Italian Tenor in Der Rosenkavalier at the Teatro Real of Madrid, with García Navarro as conductor, he has sung in Tenerife (Lucia di Lammermoor), at the Festival of Santander, in Teatro Arriaga of Bilbao and Festival de Peralada (Gianni Schicchi), at the Teatro Romea of Murcia and Teatro Principal of Alicante (L’Elisir d’amore). He has participated in an Antología de la Zarzuela at the Teatro Jovellanos of Gijón and in R. Chapí’s La Tempestad as well as in several concerts, highlighting the one at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in tribute to his teacher in a Lyric Gala, organized by the Fundación Auditorio de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and with the participation of the OFGC conducted by Adrian Leaper.

              In February 2004 he debuted with great success at La Scala of Milán with Beatrice di Tenda and later he sang Doña Francisquita at the Teatro de la Zarzuela of Madrid, La Traviata in Cosenza, Bolonia and Ancona, Luisa Fernanda in Washington, Los Angeles, La Sonnambula in Bolonia, L’Elisir d’Amore at the Teatro Real of Madrid and Teatro San Carlo of Napoles, La Fille du Régiment at Cascais Teatro del Liceo Barcelona, Don Pasquale in Treviso and Palermo, Don Giovanni in Santander, Lucia di Lammermoor at La Scala of Milán (replacing Ramón Vargas) and Japón, Falstaff and La Traviata in Brussels and Bari, Gianni Schicchi in Washington and Bari and I Pagliacci at the Teatro Real of Madrid. He has sung next to Plácido Domingo in Los Angeles and Washington with the Zarzuela Luisa Fernanda and hired the following years with different operas.After the great success with very good reviews at the Liceo of Barcelona with the opera The daughter of the regiment he is hired by the Metropolitan of New York and by Placido Domingo in 2010 to sing Don Pasquale in Washington.

           Recent and future performances include Luisa Fernanda in Valladolid, La Favorite in Bérgamo, Lucia di Lammermoor and La Traviata in Japón, Roma, Rovigo, Bassano, Padova and Lieja (Belgica), Lucia di Lammermoor in Florencia, ‘Rigoletto’ in Bologna or La Fille du Régiment at the Liceu of Barcelona, Verdi’s Requiem in Toulon(Francia), and in RTVE. Tribute Concert to his teacher Alfredo Kraus in Canarias and Carnegie Hall of New York, world premiere of the opera “Oh My Son”, at the Teatro de la Zarzuela La del Soto del parral, Varsovia (Polonia) New Year, Juan José at the Teatro de la Zarzuela, Rigoletto in Verona, La Traviata in Cagliari, Modena, reggio Emilia, Pavia, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Rigoletto at Las Palmas, Madama Butterfly in Florencia and La tabernera del puerto at the Teatro de la Zarzuela of Madrid, Sevilla Teatro de la Maestranza, Valencia Les Arts. La Traviata, Malaga….
