He studied opera singing at the Conservatory“G. Braga” of Teramo graduating 

in “opera singing”, he then obtained a degree in Sciences of Formation and 

Education, musical address with full marks and honors.   Trained also in stage 

acting, he has made his operatic debut as Lunardo in I Quatro Rusteghi by 

W. Ferrari at Teatro Verdi di Pisa He has performed in such venues as 

Teatro alla Scala, La Monnaie de Bruxelles, Opéra de Montecarlo, Teatro del 

Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Teatro La 

Fenice di Venezia, Arena di Verona, Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Teatro Regio 

di Parma, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro Verdi di Trieste, Opéra de 

Nice, Opéra de Royal de Wallonie de Liege, Opera de Tenerife, Wexford 

Festival and M acerata Opera Festival. He worked with such conductors as 

Roberto Abbado, Riccardo Chailly, Asher Fisch, Daniele Gatti, Michele 

Mariotti, Zubin Metha, Riccardo Muti, Daniel Oren, Evelino Pido’,Nello Santi, 

Wolfgang Sawallish, Pinchas Steinberg, Juraj Valcuha, just to name a 

few. His most recent successful performances include Il trovatore 

(Ferrando) at Macerata Opera Festival, La bohème (Colline) at Opéra de 

Liège, Turandot (Timur) at Theaters of Pavia, Brescia, Cremona and Como, 

L’elisir d’amore (Dulcamara) at Teatro Coccia di Novara, La Cenerentola 

(Alidoro) at the Theaters of Brescia, Cremona, Pavia, Bergamo and Como, 

Adriana Lecouvreur (Principe Bouillon) at Opéra de Montecarlo Among his 

2018/19 season engagements: Maria Stuarda (Talbot) at Deutsche Operam 

Rhein, Il trovatore (Ferrando) at Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari and in Japan, 

Ernani at Teatro alla Scala in Milano, La Bohème (Colline) in Sassari, La 

Traviata, Cenerentola (Alidoro) conducted by M° Dantone, I Masnadieri at 

Teatro alla Scala and at Savonlinna Opera Festival, La Bohème at Teatro 

Petruzzelli in Bari. He has performed in important Italian and foreign 

theaters.
